National Sport Club Survey
Held at the Napier Old Boys’ Marist Clubrooms, this Sports Forum will provide an opportunity to hear from speakers from New Zealand Amateur Sport Association to bring you a review of the NSCS - an annual snapshot of the management and operation of New Zealand sport clubs.
Around 900 respondents engaged with the survey, across all of Aotearoa New Zealand. With several important metrics tracked year-on-year relating to club membership, governance and finances.
This workshop will provide insights to the Hawkes Bay region relative to the rest of the country with a focus on the Incorporated Societies Act, Climate, Disability and Inclusion, Women and Girls and the interaction between clubs and schools.
Youth Week 2024
Youth Week aims to amplify young people’s valuable contributions to their communities by supporting them to design, deliver and evaluate all aspects of the week. We want Aotearoa to be a country where young people are vibrant and optimistic and are supported and encouraged to take up challenges. Events are designed to encourage young people to take on challenges, share ideas and focus on the positive aspects of being young. The week also recognises the youth workers, youth service providers and others working with and for young people.
We identify young people to be those aged between 12 and 24 years old.
