MANA TAIOHI
10.03.2025 - Do you or your organisation engage in physical activity with rangatahi? Then this FREE training is for you! Nau mai, haere mai. Come and learn about the Mana Taiohi principles for positive youth development and plan how you might bring them to life through your mahi.
This learning and development opportunity is aimed at outdoor instructors, recreation advocates, sports coaches and administrators, kaiako – anyone who is passionate about the role of physical activity to support young people!🤸♂️🏃♀️
This FREE wānanga is brought to you through a partnership between Ara Taiohi and Sport NZ Ihi Aotearoa, with support from Sports Hawke's Bay. The morning will focus on introducing the eight interwoven principles that make up Mana Taiohi; and the afternoon will be an opportunity for you to plan how you might bring those principle to life when working with or for rangatahi.

ADAPT AND INCLUDE TRAINING
31.03.2025 - Come and join Sport Hawke's Bay, Halberg, Special Olympics, and Blind Low Vision NZ in our Adapt and Include training day on adapting sports, play and active recreation to include students, peers and whānau members with physical or intellectual disabilities. This is a workshop not to be missed by those keen to develop their knowledge base and to be educated by those who work in this space. An open space to ask questions and brainstorm ideas in an open forum with like-minded peers, this workshop is aimed and open to anyone keen to learn or further develop their knowledge base to support our community with disabilities in Te Matau-a-Māui.
There will be two sessions hosted on the day. The morning session is from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM, and light morning tea will be provided. The afternoon session is from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with light refreshments provided. Please select which session you will attend.
